Traction Complete, which makes revenue-operations apps native to Salesforce and has worked with organizations like DocuSign and the LA Dodgers, announced Tuesday that Vancouver-based Pender Ventures and San Francisco-based Thomvest Ventures led the round. (The Logic)
Talking point: Bec Henrich, the firm’s vice-president of marketing, declined to disclose the company’s valuation. Traction Complete plans to use the funds to hire more staff and for marketing. It has 47 employees and had planned to grow its headcount by 70 per cent, Henrich said in an email to The Logic. Given the current economic climate, however, Henrich added that “we are now re-evaluating at what pace we grow headcount and what we apply to product roadmap developments and market awareness.” Greg Malpass, founder and former CEO of Traction on Demand, also founded Traction Complete. Traction on Demand in February 2022 announced it would be acquired by Salesforce. In December 2021, a U.S. growth equity firm acquired Traction’s spinoff, Traction Guest, which created a customer-relations management solution for Salesforce.
