Talking point: In signing the deal with Elon Musk’s internet-from-the-sky outfit, the Quebec government bypasses the process of having to string fibre optic cable to telephone poles—which, as The Logic reported last year, is one of the main impediments to complete high-speed internet coverage in Quebec and across the country.
