This is Radical’s second investment in You, and its ninth deal so far this year, which includes healthech company Signal1 and battery development firm Chemix. The Toronto-based VC’s deal count has stayed relatively stable in 2022, despite an overall slowdown in venture deals. The firm, which focuses on AI companies, had also made nine investments by this time last year, though the rounds in which it participated were generally larger, PitchBook data shows.
