Talking point: YouTube removed Tenet Media from its platform following a Department of Justice indictment alleging two employees of the Russian state broadcaster RT paid US$9.7 million to “Company-1,” widely reported to be Tenet Media, to disseminate content on immigration and foreign policy, among other divisive social issues. Meta has since followed suit, and Tenet’s content has apparently been removed from TikTok. The committee will ask Tenet Media co-owners Lauren Chen and Liam Donovan to testify.
