Prime Minister Mark Carney announced plans last month to host the world’s top CEOs, investors and business leaders in Toronto this September in a bid to draw money to Canadian assets. The Milken event could add to the buzz around Canada as a place to invest and do business in, at a time when it and some other countries around the world try to diversify beyond the U.S.
