Talking point: Like North America, Europe is racing to build a local electric-vehicle supply chain—and Li-Cycle is capitalizing on the opportunities, with other facilities planned for Germany and Norway. The EU has been working towards legislation that would require battery recycling. Forklift and warehouse truck-maker Kion, which said it is the largest industrial truck manufacturer in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will also send batteries to the Germany recycling plant.
