Talking point: Bridgit will use the money to capitalize on the 72 per cent increase in usage it’s seen over the past three months. “With construction recently restricted and projects delayed, contractors have needed to shift their processes and are demanding the workforce data and insights that Bridgit provides,” said CEO Mallorie Brodie. The investment also gives Bridgit access to Autodesk’s much larger customer base. Autodesk plans to integrate Bridgit into its other construction-based digital offerings, which include digitizing viewing blueprints and managing bids. However, Bridgit says it’s not planning on being acquired by the U.S. company.
