Talking point: The changes, which came into effect today, come three years after a Wall Street Journal investigation found that Facebook executives knew Instagram was responsible for increased rates of anxiety, depression and body-image issues among teens. Meanwhile, Meta also announced plans to bar Russian media outlets, including RT, following a U.S. Department of Justice indictment alleging the state-owned television network was attempting to influence public opinion—by way of Canadian-owned Tenet Media.
