Talking point: Earthy previously served as chief growth officer at FrontFundr, a private-markets investing platform. InBC’s board chair Christine Bergeron said in a statement that Earthy “brings a wealth of experience … with proven success in building strong relationships with stakeholder groups.” Earthy, who will report to the board, will first focus on hiring a chief investment officer and filling other key roles. The fund will invest on a triple-bottom-line basis, considering profits, people and the planet, while working to help local small- and medium-sized businesses scale into anchor firms.
