Talking point: The company hiked the upper range of its full-year revenue expectations by US$3 million as it cut expenses. Meanwhile, Blackberry’s automotive software division QNX grew 15 per cent year over year as it pushes into new industries, including robotics. Its cybersecurity business also benefitted from “an increased focus on data sovereignty” and contracts with a defence engineering firm and the Department of Homeland Security, CEO John Giamatteo said on an earnings call.
