Yvonne Lau is a Vancouver-based freelance journalist covering stories at the intersection of business, technology and culture, with a focus on China and Russia. She has written for Fortune, Forbes, Fast Company, Maclean’s, The Walrus and Broadview, among others. Lau is a recipient of the Asia-Pacific Foundation of Canada’s Media Fellowship and a participant in Room Up Front, a Canadian BIPOC photojournalism mentorship program.
