Mashal Butt is a Vancouver-based journalist, fact-checker and copy editor. Her work has been published by the Toronto Star, the Global Reporting Centre and The Tyee. She has fact-checked and copy-edited for The Walrus, Toronto Life and Maclean’s, among other publications, as well as three books.
