The San Francisco-based subscription marketplace provider said it will integrate PartnerStack’s partner-relationship management platform into its offerings. The companies did not disclose financial terms of the deal. (The Logic)
Talking point: PartnerStack last publicly raised investment in May 2021 via a $34-million Series B. It was valued at US$116 million after the raise, according to PitchBook. PartnerStack helps clients find affiliate and co-sell partners, as well as influencers to work with from a roster of more than 138,000 partners. Both companies said artificial intelligence is changing the importance of third-party content for search results, and that PartnerStack helps firms surface their material in these chatbots. PartnerStack CEO Bryn Jones said in a statement that the firm’s 110 staff will remain with AppDirect following the acquisition, and said the Toronto headquarters will continue to add more employees.
