Talking point: If the venture launches, it would be another incursion by Anthropic into the professional services industry. Big consulting firms like Accenture currently have deals with Anthropic, in which the consulting firms are training “Claude experts” to help their clients. Anthropic’s new venture could cut out the middleman. The AI company has already been getting deeper into the professional services sector by catering more tools toward financial modelling and legal work. The Information noted that private equity firms are under pressure to cut costs with AI, but Anthropic’s conflict with the U.S. Department of War is complicating deal talks.
