Talking point: It’s the second OSC filing in the last month from a firm wanting to give retail investors a chance to get into Bitcoin via an ETF, following one from Arxnovum Investments. (The OSC has yet to approve either application.) The cryptocurrency’s value has been volatile, surging to US$20,000 in 2017 before falling by more than 85 per cent the following year. It reached a new all-time high at US$40,000 at the beginning of this year.
