Talking point: “Connectivity matters more than ever,” said CEO Brad Shaw in a statement. The company’s revenue fell 0.9 per cent in the quarter ended Nov. 30, 2020 from $1.38 billion to $1.37 billion. The company’s net income increased 0.6 per cent from $162 million to $163 million. “We are pleased with our first-quarter performance which clearly demonstrates our commitment to growing our wireless customer base through a strong bundled offering. While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic will continue to have impacts to certain areas of our business, we believe that connectivity remains critical and our business is resilient,” the chief executive said.
