Luna was one of the most valuable cryptocurrencies, with a market cap over US$30 billion prior to its downfall. Wealthsimple halted purchases of Luna shortly afterward. In its email to customers, Wealthsimple attributed its latest decision to a “material change” in the token’s risk profile. “Given the material changes to [Luna], the asset has since gone through a reassessment by our compliance team and the decision was made to delist,” spokesperson Juanita Leon told The Logic.
