Talking point: The company said this extension of its Series B, which had already brought in US$50 million, will help it expand its tech in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific markets. Certn recently acquired InterCheck, an Australian background check provider, and expanded services offered in the U.K. The company said its revenue has grown more than 14,500 per cent from 2018 and 2022, making it one of the fastest growing companies in Canada. After raising more than $40 million across three rounds in 2021, co-founder and CEO Andrew McLeod targeted growth, especially international expansion.
