U.S. attorney general Pam Bondi called “violent attacks” against Tesla “nothing short of domestic terrorism,” and said the U.S. Department of Justice charged several alleged perpetrators, including some charges carrying minimum sentences of five years. In addition to Musk’s political statements, some Canadians have pushed back against using public funding toward American companies involved in the ongoing trade war, with B.C. disqualifying Tesla from receiving funding for electric-vehicle chargers.
