Talking point: As a senior executive at Bloomberg, Eccleston was allegedly part of a “sexualized, predatory environment,” according to an investigation by Business Insider. The report notes Eccleston was named in New York Division of Human Rights filings alleging inappropriate behaviour involving women employees. The company provided no other comment other than that Eccleston had informed the board he supports the decision. While TMX Group’s stock was up nearly 60 per cent this year, it dropped about five per cent in late afternoon trading Wednesday.
