Talking point: As investor interest in AI has grown, Stable Diffusion skyrocketed Stability AI’s popularity last summer and investors, including Lightspeed Venture Partners, invested US$101 million at a US$1-billion valuation. But sources said Mostaque exaggerated to help the firm’s growth and did not deserve credit on some major AI projects. Mostaque said in a statement that the company is “working to improve and resolve these issues.”
