Talking point: Peripheral’s technology takes video feeds from different angles at sports games, and turns them into more 3D environments that users can move around to track particular players or see the action from their point of view. It’s pitching the system to leagues and stadiums, as an engagement tool that’s cheaper and requires fewer cameras than other options. Peripheral is also set to launch a consumer service for replays this year. Founded in 2024, the firm raised a previous US$3.6-million seed round in December led by Khosla.
