Even Alberta’s Danielle Smith and B.C.’s David Eby, who have been at odds over Alberta’s wish for a new oil pipeline to the Pacific, emphasized the many other things they do agree on. Eby said that if a proponent makes a specific proposal for such a project (which Smith said she’s working on, for a new version of the Northern Gateway plan), B.C. is “absolutely willing to have those conversations.”
