Talking point: Montreal-founded MindGeek has faced mounting legal woes since The New York Times published an op-ed alleging its flagship site Pornhub was “infested with rape videos.” Most recently, 34 women filed a civil suit in a U.S. district court in California, alleging MindGeek had posted private or non-consensual videos of them on its sites. Asked for comment by The Logic, Pornhub would only provide a statement via what a company executive has admitted is a false identity.
