Its newest tool was built with the same technology behind ChatGPT, which has sparked more interest in generative AI technology. Since ChatGPT’s launch, Microsoft has used the technology for a Bing AI chatbot—though it has had to limit users’ interactions with it after reports of some disturbing conversations. Meanwhile, Google recently released a competitor dubbed Bard.
