Talking point: The centre is located at the CHU Saint-Justine, a mother and children’s hospital in Montreal. CES provides sequencing, genotyping and microarray services for Canadian research. It is the largest such centre in Canada. The investment in life sciences “enables innovative projects to be carried out in a sector where we need to be more efficient,” said Innovation Minister Pierre Fitzgibbon in a statement.
