The automaker’s South Korea-based partner, EcoPro BM, is set to take over the rest of the joint project in the province, and is reportedly in talks with other customers for the electric vehicle battery materials it would make. Ford’s branding is no longer visible on the local factory site. Nonetheless, CEO Jim Farley stood by the company’s EV strategy in an earnings call this week.
