The initial public offering price of $6.90 is in line with what the miner expected when it started its road show earlier in the week, but the total offering size is larger than the $363 million it originally forecast. Talking point: While the Toronto Stock Exchange has not landed listings on the scale of those debuting in New York, companies seem to be warming to raising money in Canada’s public markets following Apotex’s June debut. Amapá Minerals Holdings said Friday it had raised $140 million in its public offering, and expects shares to start trading Monday. Bigger miners are also showing interest in the IPO market, with Canadian gold giant Agnico Eagle buying $60 million Cadillac Gold shares at the listing price ahead of its opening trade.
