Talking point: NFI, which supplies electric buses powered by batteries and fuel cells as well as other vehicles, said it will use the technology in its buses in the U.S. and Canada. Ballard will produce most of the modules in its Bend, Ore., facility. The company has recently announced a slew of orders, including multiple orders of hydrogen fuel-cell engines from existing customer Solaris and a partnership with Ford Trucks.
