Talking point: Telstra is looking to sell to corporate Canada by offering a faster communications line to overseas staff and partner firms in Asia-Pacific. “Canada has long been one of our most requested routes, and we believe that the time is right to provide a new, world-class option for Canadian businesses seeking to securely connect into the Asia-Pacific region,” said Nicholas Collins, president of Telstra Americas. The firm is first setting up in Toronto’s Financial District, and plans to expand to Calgary, Vancouver and Montreal. It is also hoping to sell its improved Canada access to its Australian clients.
