Finance Minister Nate Horner said the fund manager has “remedied” the investment strategy that led to the losses. Meanwhile, the government’s proposed greenwashing protection follows a federal government bill passed last year to crack down on deceptive advertising. Since then, many companies and investors have scaled back climate targets and disclosures.
