Requity buys homes on customers’ behalf and rents it back to them, giving them the option to buy it back at a guaranteed price later on. “We are offering a fair and flexible alternative path to home ownership by introducing more innovative financing options to an underserved market,” said Requity CEO Amy Ding. Other companies offering products specifically for renters include Zenbase and Chroma, which pay customers’ rent upfront and allow them to pay it back over the following month.
