Meet with The Logic’s editorial board
What is the editorial board?
The Logic’s editorial board is an ad hoc group of the newsroom’s editors and reporters who come together to meet leaders in the worlds of business, technology, economics, politics and policy for broad discussions about their work and the issues of the day.
The meetings give those leaders the opportunity for candid conversations with The Logic’s journalists, and gives our journalists the chance to seek a deeper understanding of a company or an industry, or of its leader’s position on particular business issues, to help inform future reporting.
The Logic may use some editorial board conversations in news articles and columns. The meetings are on the record unless all parties mutually agree to other terms.
What the editorial board is not
The launch of the editorial board doesn’t mean more opinion journalism. The board will not write unsigned editorials in the newspaper tradition, and The Logic currently has no plans to start publishing contributed op-eds.
Who does the editorial board want to meet with?
The Logic editorial board meets with C-suite decision makers and key policymakers who want to have a candid conversation about their organization and its strategic direction, and to share their perspectives on their sector and/or the economy at large.
How to request an editorial board meeting
Please contact Managing Editor Jordan Timm to propose a meeting. Be sure to include the name of the executive or leader who wants to meet with us, outline what topics they’re hoping to discuss and why the meeting would be timely. We look forward to hearing from you.
