Talking point: Patch’s platform helps companies build emissions calculators for customers, among other services. The company was co-founded by Canadian Aaron Grunfeld in 2020, and has raised US$80 million so far, including a US$20.75-million Series A in September 2021. It has more than 100 corporate customers, including Afterpay, and more than 60 staff, including at a new European headquarters in London. It plans to use the funds to keep growing its team to about 100 by the end of the year; to work on its technology; and to expand into new geographic areas, industry sectors and enterprise levels.
