Talking point: Apps will lose access to Google+ APIs in the next 90 days. The company said the bug impacted about 52.5 million users, and apps were given permission to access information on user profiles—including names, email addresses, occupations and ages—even if the users had not made their profiles public. The news comes less than a week after Google announced it was also closing Google Allo, its instant-messaging app.
