Talking point: Mash allows businesses, especially content producers, to provide more flexible payment options to customers through Bitcoin and the Lightning Network. The company says its model lets people pay for online services as they use them, instead of having to buy a subscription up front, through small payments on Lightning, which enables faster and more efficient Bitcoin transactions. The product could also eliminate the need for many businesses to rely on selling ads, according to a press release. Since its founding in March 2021, Mash has launched a beta version of its product, and is in the process of making partnerships, the company said.
