Zane Schwartz was a reporter at The Logic. Previously at the National Post and Maclean’s, he was the 2017 Michelle Lang Fellow in Journalism, building a searchable database of five million political donations. He won a Data Journalism Award from the Global Editors Network in 2018 for the project. In both 2017 and 2018 he won the Goff Penny Award, given to the best young newspaper journalist in Canada. In 2019, he won the Project of the Year award from the National Newspaper Awards and was named the Best Young Journalist by the Canadian chapter of the Society for Advancing Business Editing and Writing.
