Lu Xu was a reporter in The Logic’s one-year program for BIPOC journalists. She holds a master’s degree in data journalism from the University of King’s College. Prior to joining The Logic, she worked at The Chronicle Herald where she wrote about immigration and small businesses. She hosted “Here From Away,” a podcast from Halifax campus radio station CKDU.ca that showcases the stories of people who came (or returned) to Nova Scotia—and whether they’ll stay. Her work has also appeared in The Walrus, AllNovaScotia and The Coast.
