Talking point: Founded in 2020, Scispot’s technology helps labs automate their work, with the end goal being what it calls a “self-driving lab”—one that has co-ordination, data capture, analysis and reporting running automatically. More than 100 labs now use Scispot’s platform, according to the company, and the money raised will help it grow its product and team. The company has 34 employees, said founder and CEO Guru Singh, and plans to have about 50 by the end of the year.
