Two more provinces sign up for $10-a-day child care


    On a swing through Atlantic Canada in advance of a widely expected late-summer election call, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau revealed agreements with Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador in which the federal government will underwrite efforts to slash the price of care for kids younger than six. P.E.I. is getting $121 million over five years and Newfoundland will receive $347 million. (The Logic)
