Some Alberta energy leaders believe diversity efforts hinder performance, report says

According to a survey by accounting firm EY, 10.5 per cent of respondents (66.6 per cent of whom were managers and leaders in the energy sector) said diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs have a “negative impact” on performance. The anonymous survey of 261 respondents who work in the province’s energy and resources sector was conducted in 2022 with Careers in Energy, a research outfit. (The Logic)
