The streaming service will hire “a dedicated content executive” for the country, co-CEO Ted Sarandos announced in a blog post on Thursday. The company claims it’s spent over $2.5 billion on productions in Canada since 2017, including costs like hiring crews and directors as well as post-production, visual effects and animation, spokesperson Lindsey Scully told The Logic.
