JD.com reports slowest growth on record for annual sales event

Sales grew 10.3 per cent during the shopping festival known as 618, pulling in about US$56.5 billion, the slowest growth since the Chinese online shopping giant started reporting the results in 2017. JD said sales increased by 27.7 per cent during last year’s event. (The Wall Street Journal, Reuters)
