Europe’s top court strikes down data-sharing deal with U.S.


    The European Court of Justice ruled that the 2016 arrangement to transfer personal data between the EU and the U.S. does not protect the privacy of EU residents. Thousands of companies on either side of the Atlantic participate in Privacy Shield, including tech giants, banks and car companies. (Financial Times)
