Despite lawsuits and investigations, Clearview AI raises $30M from investors


    The controversial facial-recognition software company has raised a total of US$38 million to date at a post-money US$130-million valuation, according to PitchBook data. The investors in this round asked not to be identified, though its Series A included Peter Thiel and New York venture capital firm Kirenaga Partners. (The New York Times)
