Canadian VC, private equity deal making drops in Q1: CVCA

Canadian companies raised about $1.2 billion in venture capital in the last quarter, down from more than $2.5 billion the previous quarter, according to the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association. Private equity investing also declined, though less so, from about $2.8 billion to $2 billion. (The Logic)
