Canadian cities lose ground in global financial centre rankings


    Toronto dropped four spots to 11th place, Montreal fell two spots to 20th and Vancouver sank five spots to 24th in the latest Global Financial Centres Index, compiled by London-based think tank Z/Yen and the City of London. U.S. centres mostly improved their rankings—New York held on to the top spot after replacing London last year. Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai rounded out the top five. (The Logic)
