Former senior federal official Matthew Mendelsohn and Springboard Policy principal Noah Zon are calling on governments and regulated sectors to consider factors other than price—such as wages, innovation and support for SMEs— in procurement, and for Ottawa to expand its Innovation Solutions Canada buying program.
