Amazon to host a homeless shelter in its Seattle headquarters


    With pet-friendly family rooms and the ability to produce 600,000 meals per year, the 63,000-plus-square-foot shelter will be run by the non-profit Mary’s Place, and is expected to be the largest in Washington state—with Amazon paying the maintenance, utilities and security for the next decade. (Business Insider, Architect’s Newspaper)
