Alberta spending $23M to launch new quantum hub

The government is partnering with the University of Calgary and other post-secondary institutions to “fast track” quantum technologies in areas like energy, autonomous vehicles, medical imaging and cyber security. Multinational IT services company Mphasis, which opened its new headquarters in Calgary earlier this week, will be a partner in the so-called “Quantum City.” (The Logic)
